Academic

As Senior Tutor of Trinity Hall, Clare is responsible for providing academic and pastoral support for the College’s 360 undergraduate and nearly 250 graduate students. As Trinity Hall’s senior academic office-holder, she is also responsible for recruiting and supporting the College’s academic staff, and is closely involved with most aspects of College life.

As Trinity Hall’s Director of Studies in History, Clare lectures for the History Faculty in Cambridge, and supervises undergraduates for papers in Tudor and Stuart British history and the history of political thought, as well as supervising postgraduate MPhil and PhD students researching a range of aspects of early modern British history.
